WORSHIP IS MORE THAN A SONG
And I believe many of them have been trained through the afflictions of this life.
Not because God delights in suffering.
He doesn’t.
But because there are things we learn in suffering that cannot be learned from a stage.
There are depths of faith that are formed when every natural support disappears.
BLESSED IN THE PRESENCE OF YOUR ENEMIES
Almost as if God was saying:
“I will bless you anyway.”
And there is truth in knowing that no human being can stop what God has purposed for your life.
But recently...
THE TRUTH WE DON’T WANT TO HEAR
We need Jesus.
We need the blood that He shed for us.
Religion has sometimes complicated that message.
It can leave us believing that if we complete enough rituals...
Pray enough...
Or are good enough...
Then somehow we can earn our way into heaven.
But Christianity doesn't teach that we earn salvation.
It teaches grace.
A gift.
And I would rather someone tell me a difficult truth that leads me to life than a comfortable lie that leaves me heading towards death.
